Fluorescence Calibration Slide Application: For regular calibration of LuxScanTM 10K Microarray Scanner
Calibration Cycle Using Fluorescence Calibration Slide
It is recommended to perform system calibration once every 6 months and perform focal length calibration once every month. When the ambient temperature changes by more than 10 ℃, a focal length calibration is required.
Calibration SOP Using Fluorescence Calibration Slide
1. Turn on the power switch located at the bottom right corner of the scanner's back hood.
2. Double-click the desktop shortcut icon “LuxScan 3.0”, and then click "LuxScan 10K" to open the software.
3. Once the software interface has been opened, click the green channel button (with green color) and preheat for 10 minutes.
4. Click the "File" option in the taskbar, select "System Calibration", and a System Calibration dialog box will pop up.
5. In the System Calibration dialog box, check the three options: "System Self-Test", "Auto-Focus", and "PMT Calibration". Then, upload the TXT format file from the CD-ROM into the "Please Specify Standard Reference Data" field.
6. Click the "Start Calibration" button. After the software prompts "Please place the chip into the scanner", insert the chip from the kit into the slot with the label facing up. Click the "OK" button to start calibration.
7. During calibration, do not open related software such as deafness gene detection software, strain identification software, or tuberculosis drug-resistant gene detection software at the same time.
8. After the calibration is completed, the software will prompt "Auto Calibration Completed". Click the "OK" button.
9. The software will automatically generate a report. Print the test report.
Note: Before conducting calibration, please carefully read the instruction manual and operational precautions, and perform the corresponding operations in strict accordance with the standard procedures.
